Kevin Reichelt
Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Kevin Reichelt is a Principal of STI-Global and is an experienced project development and management executive. Over the last twenty years, he has been the Principal Consultant and Managing Director of Project Marketing Pty Ltd - a specialist technology development and commercialisation company.

He has consulted to a range of industrial and technology companies and was an inaugural COMET (Commercialising Emerging Technologies) Business Advisor for the Australian Commonwealth. He has also been engaged by the Western Australian government to examine and evaluate bulk handling materials in India and advanced composites in the US.

Donald Searle
Executive Director - Technical

Don Searle is a Principal of STI-Global and has in excess of 35 years experience in the development and commercialisation of Australian developed railroad technology which has been taken worldwide to Canada, USA, South America, Europe, Southern Africa, Asia and New Zealand.

Don has a speciality background in metallurgical fatigue of rail and considerable experience dealing with track and train GIS based risk management systems. Don is a graduate metallurgist from RMIT in Melbourne.

Perry Cooper
Executive Director, Finance

Perry Cooper, an investment banker with 20+ years of experience and leads the Company's Co-investment Partnership, M&A activity and the STI-Global Finance Division activities. Perry has worked in positions that encompassed Portfolio Management, Syndicated/Leveraged/Project Finance and Structured Credit at the highest levels of several financial institutions.

Perry was a Director at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore with the Portfolio Management Group; an executive at Investec Bank in Sydney, and prior to that was Head of Originations, Syndicated Finance for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Societe Generale in Paris and Head of Emerging Markets prior to this position. He has also worked in London with Royal Bank of Canada and started his career with JP Morgan in Canada. Perry has an MBA (hons.) from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.

Robert Grant
President & CEO, STI-Global S.A.

Robert Grant is the President and CEO of STI-Global's Madrid based subsidiary in Spain. He has extensive senior management experience with a range of UK and Spanish corporations and has been CEO of the organisation since its inception in 1999 as AEA Technology Global SA, a subsidiary of the former Research and Development Division of British Rail.

Following university in the UK he worked at GEC Napier Turbochargers in Lincoln for two years with graduate engineers and gained detailed technical knowledge of Gas Turbines and other high speed rotating machinery. Robert then moved to Spain in 1982 and began marketing British equipment for the marine engineering, defence, electronics and transport industries.

In his current position he is using this experience to consolidate the launch of STI Global and its product range in Spain, as well as continuing to manage the core rail business of the company.

John Lawrie
Executive Director, Chief Operations Officer

John Lawrie has recently joined the Company to drive the integration process of the target acquisitions into the Group structure, as well as to contribute to the extraction of bottom line benefit from the company’s growth strategy.

John is a results focused, bi-lingual (Spanish, English) and highly skilled Chartered Accountant who is experienced in targeting potential acquisitions, undertaking due diligence, negotiating acquisition transactions through to overseeing the integration phase of newly acquired companies.

John has worked at Director level for over 14 years, most recently as Group Finance Director for Caudwell Group in Spain, a leader in the telecommunications sector with a turnover of Euro 3 billion. Prior to this, John was the Operations Manager for a leading supplier of IT solutions to the banking industry, MKI, Misys PLC. He has held positions as Financial Controller, Special Projects Controller and Auditor at various high-profile consulting houses and investment banks including Morgan Stanly, NatWest Markets and Arthur Andersen.

He is a graduate in Economics and Accounting from Leeds University in the UK.

Frederick John Randall
Non-Executive Director, Engineering

John Randall is an experienced Mechanical Engineer. He held Board equivalent positions with Mt Newman Mining Co. (now BHP Iron Ore) Harnischfeger of Australia and WorkSafe WA, where he was Chief Inspector from the introduction of occupational health and safety legislation in that State.

He was Operations Engineering Manager at Mt Newman Mining Co before being appointed Engineering Services Manager with engineering responsibility for their heavy haul railway and the materials handling operations at Newman and Port Hedland. He was involved in developing solutions to technical problems being experienced by the various heavy haul railways in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Richard Marr
Non-Executive Director

Richard Marr is an independent Non-Executive Director of STI-Global who over the past 34 years has been a Certified Practicing Valuer, a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and for many years held a position on the Panel of Examiners for the Australian Property Institute. He is a past Director of public companies Crest Magnesium, Indcor Ltd, Cobra Resources (now Resource Mining) and is a current Director of Meridian Mining, Meridian Gold, National Uranium and National Gold.

Richard has a wealth of commercial experience and is currently a senior Business Sales Consultant with Western Australia's largest business broking company GMO, specialising in sales of property and businesses. Richard was formerly a WA State Partner and Manager of the Valuation Department, Hillier Parker (now Burgess Rawson), Manager of Peet & Co and Senior Valuer for Jones Lang Wootton, Perth.

Jose Calderon
Director, Finance

Jose Calderon who is based in Madrid is an experienced lease/rental specialist and has recently joined STI-Global to join Perry Cooper in heading up the Co-investment Partnership. He will provide structuring expertise for leveraged leases and other financial products and has in excess of 20 years investment banking experience.

Prior to joining STI-Global, Jose completed the establishment of a €1.3 billion leasing structure for The Royal Bank of Scotland's leasing division. He has been involved in setting up leasing companies for such prestigious financial institutions such as Indosuez Group (now part of Calyon) and GE Capital. He has also worked for Arthur D. Little and IBM.
